I'm really into what you're doing, but my kids are too big for these shoes. Are you planning on expanding your product line?

Thanks so much! And we’re so glad you asked. Our first goal is to launch the Newbie baby shoe on Kickstarter, but we already have plans to expand our line of sustainable products for older kids. Ultimately, we hope to offer kids of all ages really cool stuff that never ends up in the landfill.

Sorry, but i'm a little skeptical. Do the Newbie shoes really just dissolve?

We totally get it — it is a pretty magical idea. But we promise it’s real. We stitch the Newbies with durable, planet-friendly materials that hold up to normal baby wear and tear. But when placed in boiling water, the shoes dissolve. Bacteria then decompose the dissolved solution back to CO2 and water.

What happens to the Newbie shoes if they get wet?

Nothing at all. They only begin to disappear in boiling water. They are durable enough to stand up to anything your baby will do in them. Rain, snow or shine, these shoes meet the performance standards of babies everywhere.

How do I recycle my Toddle shoes?

We want to make recycling your Toddles as easy as possible. When your little one outgrows them, please contact us at support@woolybubs.com and we'll send you a prepaid shipping label so you can just pop them in the mail.  We’ll even give you 15 percent off your next purchase when you send them back. Once we receive them, we’ll take them to an industrial recycling center to break them down and turn the shoes into new material.
